Mechanical Site Manager

Our growing mechanical contractor, based in Essex, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor / Site Manager to oversee residential and apartment project works. This includes managing the mechanical installation and coordinating with an electrical contractor on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct weekly site visits to ensure a safe working environment.
• Deliver regular toolbox talks to promote health and safety awareness among site personnel.
• Understand and work to project schedules, reporting any delays promptly.
• Ensure that all installations meet client requirements, scope of works, drawings, and quality standards.
• Coordinate labour and subcontractors effectively.
• Record and manage variations orders (VOs).
• Maintain accurate test sheets.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a plumber or pipefitter.
• Hold a valid SSSTS certification.
• Proven track record as a Site Manager for residential projects exceeding £1 million in M&E value.

This role requires a professional who can lead and manage teams, ensuring smooth project execution while adhering to health and safety regulations.
