Contract Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, creating drawings, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects. A key focus will be on composites design as well as tooling, utilizing expertise in Catia V5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components using CATIA V5 software.
  • Create detailed drawings and specifications for tooling and composites designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery and quality.

Requirements:

  • CATIA V5 expert with 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Proven track record in tooling design and composites design.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.

Working Arrangements:

This is a hybrid role based in Oxford, initially for 6 months with a strong likelihood of extension due to ongoing project work.
