Job Title:Mechanic / MOT Tester

Location:Cambridge

Salary:Up to Β£37,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanic / MOT Tester to join a respected, independent garage located just outside central Cambridge. If you value doing things properly and enjoy working in a friendly, skilled team that takes pride in every vehicle, this is a great opportunity.

Youll be involved in all aspects of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and MOT testing. The work is varied and hands-onno production-line servicing here. Youll work with a range of makes and models and have access to quality tools and equipment in a supportive workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards (beneficial but not essential)
  • Service and maintain a variety of vehicles
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs accurately
  • Log work thoroughly and ensure a high standard of service
  • Collaborate with a small, experienced team of technicians

Requirements:

  • MOT licence (Class 4) preferred but not essential
  • At least 3 years\’ experience as a vehicle technician
  • Confident in diagnostics and fault finding
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage your workload
  • Full UK driving licence

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 5:30 PM
  • No weekend work
