Our Business Services and Outsourcing team provides accounting, payroll and compliance services and collaborates with other service lines to support client needs across the firm. We work with a range of clients from ambitious entrepreneurial SMEs to large multi-national groups, under UK GAAP and IFRS frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex client portfolios, prepare statutory accounts, and lead advisory services.
- Oversee client relationships, project performance, and resource needs; review the work of junior staff.
- Join the Northern financial reporting management team, supporting strategic growth and handling departmental issues such as coaching, business development, and compliance.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance delivery and provide additional services to clients.
Qualifications
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a management role.
- Strong working knowledge of UK and international reporting standards (including UK GAAP and UK-adopted IFRS) and related financial reporting requirements.
- Experience preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, consolidations and cash flows.
- Business development experience—able to identify and convert opportunities to services.
