About the role
As our Maintenance Person you will be responsible for all repairs and maintenance across our home. You will walk the home daily to pro-actively identify any areas that need attention, whilst also conducting regular safety checks on various equipment. You will create a maintenance programme for the home alongside our Home Manager and, of course, you will interact with our residents on a daily basis — so you will be friendly, caring and kind whilst respecting our residents' dignity at all times.
Here are some other important things you need to know:
- You will need to be experienced at painting and decorating. Having electrical and plumbing skills would be beneficial but not essential.
- You will need to demonstrate that you have excellent knowledge of Health and Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety and Food Safety.
- You will keep up to date and accurate records of all checks and repairs completed and scheduled.
