A HVAC Engineer who will manage and maintain heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services and systems, undertaking both reactive and planned works. You will be part of a small team, collaborating with the project delivery management team and liaising with planners. The role is based with our offices in Stoke-on-Trent and other sites within the property portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on a range of HVAC equipment, ensuring work is completed efficiently and in line with health and safety standards and regulations.
  • Supporting the on-call rota across offices in Stoke-on-Trent and other sites within the property portfolio, including any pre-planned works and responding to equipment issues.
  • Maintaining a wide range of plant, diagnosing faults and ensuring timely resolutions for HVAC equipment including AC systems, AHU, refrigeration units, motors, pumps, compressors, fans, drives and heating systems.
  • Ensuring all Health and Safety obligations are met and coordinated with the project delivery team.
  • Maintaining sites in a clean and safe condition at all times.
  • Producing, managing and maintaining critical spares lists.
  • Supporting the wider maintenance team with general mechanical and plumbing work.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven track record in working with AC systems, AHU and refrigeration systems.
  • F-Gas Certification City & Guilds (2079) Cat 1.
  • CITB P&P Pipework and Brazing.
  • Awareness of risk assessment and working safely with electronic test equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and report technical information as required.
  • Experience of manufacturers certification.
  • Good computer skills (MS Office) with sound knowledge and understanding of ground and air source systems.
  • Full UK driving licence and CSCS Card is essential.
