TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products to service and repair Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group and operates a national network of TPS Centres with a 1,500-strong workforce. The role sits within a franchise-like agency model where Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK.
Location: London, England, United Kingdom
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Sales Manager and team to deliver the Centre’s business plan and sales objectives.
- Achieve personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers.
- Accurately identify parts to meet customer sales requirements.
- Utilise product promotions effectively to achieve targets.
- Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within the customer base.
- Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.
- Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact by phone and face-to-face visits.
- Provide high levels of service: understand requirements, respond to requests, progress orders and give expert advice.
- Provide timely communication to customers on credit status.
- Support TPS Centre team to ensure good working relationships and excellent service.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and peers to achieve sales targets with a joined-up approach.
- Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries within KPIs using approved greeting.
- Ensure proper and accurate use of systems to search and order parts.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
- Deal with cash and credit card transactions in line with TPS Guidelines.
Qualifications:
- A self-starter with a proven track record in building strong relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Confident and capable communicator with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- A team player with drive to achieve individual and sales targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
- IT literate, preferably with MS Excel knowledge.
- A passion for the automotive industry.
