About The Role
As a Freelance Sales Consultant, you will represent a bold and mission-driven gallery that showcases contemporary artists working with environmentally conscious materials and practices. You will introduce collectors, institutions, interior designers, and corporations to extraordinary artworks that challenge conventions and champion sustainability.
This is a commission-only role, ideal for someone entrepreneurial, well-connected, and aligned with the values of innovation, integrity, and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage new collectors and buyers for the gallery's artworks
- Present and sell work by a roster of sustainable, conceptually rigorous artists
- Communicate artist stories and sustainability credentials with clarity and passion
- Optionally attend art fairs, private views, and collector events
- Collaborate with the Gallery Director on proposals and relationship-building
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, conversations, and sales activity
