A large, national Building Surveying Consultancy with offices throughout the UK is seeking a Chartered and seasoned Building Surveyor to add depth of skill and knowledge to its existing team. This is an ideal role for a Chartered Building Surveyor looking for a hands-on role combined with mentoring and project leadership, primarily across public sector projects. Based out of the central London office, the role offers hybrid and flexible working.
The Chartered Building Surveyors role
- You will lead and sign off projects, playing a traditional Building Surveying role with clients, whilst also assisting the development of the talented team through mentoring and managerial guidance:
- Fee proposals
- Leading projects
- Mentoring
- QA checks
- Signing off projects
- Team management and individual mentoring
You’ll be working on a wide range of projects; initially the focus is public sector, but the company covers many other areas alongside the Project Managers and Clerks of Works in the wider team.
Requirements:
- Chartered Building Surveyor MRICS essential
- Experienced in leading projects
- Broad knowledge and understanding of all building surveying responsibilities
- Happy to manage and mentor
- Team player, personable
