As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help patients recover movement, reduce pain, and regain function after injury, illness, or surgery. Your responsibilities include:

• Implementing treatment plans developed by the physical therapist
• Leading prescribed exercises and activities, instructing patients, and monitoring progress
• Applying treatment modalities and adjusting as needed
• Educating patients and families on injury prevention, body mechanics, and pain management
• Monitoring patient responses and documenting progress

Requirements:

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current license/certification in the state of practice
