We are recruiting on behalf of a multi-disciplined Compliance outfit, who has a strong presence in the midlands. They have recently won new business contracts and are seeking a driven Legionella Remedial Plumber who can provide high levels of service throughout each project. Duties will vary depending on risk assessment outcomes, so it is imperative that engineers have a diverse skillset and adaptable nature. They are offering competitive salaries and benefits for the successful candidate.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have hands-on experience working as a Remedial Plumber within a Water Hygiene / Legionella outfit
- It is essential to hold the G3 Unvented ticket
- Must be qualified with plumbing tickets, such as: NVQ Level 1 / 2 / 3 in Plumbing
- Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Experience working across a range of client sites
- Flexible to travel in line with company requirements
The Role:
- Undertaking PPM and reactive remedial plumbing duties across a range of client sites
- Interpreting legionella risk assessments to determine required works
- TMV servicing, installations and replacements
- Deadleg removals
- Tank inspections, refurbishments and installations
- Installation of point of use water heaters
- Servicing and installations of water cylinders
- Pipework re-routes
- Carrying out a water sampling and temperature monitoring regime
- Expansion vessel replacements
- Completing regular service reports
