About
Not all Transport Planner roles are created equal.
Take ours for example, where we want our planning team to actually have a life outside work. No really – a life outside work! In transport and haulage!! Imagine that!
Over the last 25 years we\’ve continued to build our business on quality of service. To support our customers further, we are strengthening our transport planning team with additional hires planned over the short and medium term to scale with growth.
We are recruiting for a position with a secure business that offers genuine personal growth opportunities for people who want them. We want a Lead Planner (salary between £40k and £45k) who can take the helm and lead on planning and decision making.
We think we\’ve got an exciting journey ahead of us, and the next five years have numerous milestones and projects to aim for. We want to find people to be part of this journey with us.
We are committed to giving people with proven capability the options to progress their career at R&C Cooper Transport.
The role will work a 45-hour week (Monday to Friday) with weekend ‘cover\’ 1 in every 3 required (because it is transport after all..). Weekend cover only requires a presence on a Saturday morning in the yard/office with ‘on call\’ phone cover for the rest of the weekend.
Working in a transport office doesn\’t have to be 14-hour days, rotating shifts and/or working every weekend.
Enjoy the problem solving of transport planning but want a life outside work too? We\’d love to hear from you.
