Overview

JN Bentley is looking for an enthusiastic and positive Lead Hand / Ganger to lead a groundworks gang in the Reading area and to work across the region on our sites. The role reports to Site Management and focuses on sites predominantly within the water industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a groundworks gang on various civils projects, predominantly within the water industry.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety and promote a proactive safety culture on site.
  • Collaborate with Site Management and other site teams, monitor progress, and report as required.

Candidate Specification

  • Experience managing a gang working on civils projects.
  • Positive attitude towards work with the ability to maintain high health and safety standards and a reporting culture.
  • Current CSCS, CPCS / NOCN or NPORS with NVQ and Plant Tickets.
  • Site Supervisor or Site Management training.
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential.
