This is a Key Account Manager role with a major European and British manufacturer of process and packaging machinery. The company provides high value technical equipment and line solutions sold into the food processing and manufacturing markets. The role offers a strong package and good prospects.

Location
Home based; cover the whole of the UK. Commutable locations include Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Cambridge.
Role and Responsibilities
A classic Key Account Manager role managing our two biggest UK accounts in the food processing and manufacturing sectors, with a turnover worth circa £5 million plus per annum. The brief is to grow business within these accounts and to target selected new key accounts.
Person Specification / Qualifications
- You MUST have a proven track record of selling high value technical solutions based around food process and packaging machinery sold into the food processing or manufacturing market.
- Ideally you will have experience selling to the meat, fish and poultry markets.
- You WILL have a technical background and ideally relevant engineering qualifications.
Company
We are a major European and British manufacturer of process and packaging machinery with high value technical equipment and line solutions. We have a 3 to 5 year growth plan and a new management team to deliver that plan, including new UK premises in the near future. We offer full design and project management services and have partnership deals with several other major PPMA companies to deliver complete lines in the UK, Europe and Worldwide.

Success in this role could lead to a sales management role in the next 2 to 3 years.
