The Role
Prospect is on a mission to revolutionise decision making in sport. Our analytical solutions support decision making from the field through to the board room, helping our performance clients win trophies in four different sports, and winning awards for our commercial clients too. We have four primary lines of business: Performance Analytics, Sporting Product Analytics, Marketing Analytics & Execution, and Consulting & Advisory. Since closing our seed fundraising round in June 2021, Prospect has worked with rights holders, clubs, investors, broadcasters, and other service providers to the sports industry.
We are looking for someone who is equally passionate about sports and analytics and is excited about the possibilities of the intersection of the two. The ideal candidate would have experience as a problem solver, UI/UX engineer, and communicator, with a strong grasp of both front-end and back-end technologies. You’ll work as part of cross-functional teams to help solve challenges and aid decision makers across the sporting landscape, from elite professional teams, to leagues and broadcasters, applying advanced analytics and modelling techniques.

Junior UI/UX Engineer Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reusable UI components.
- Implement designs in React based on wireframes.
- Collaborate with data and API developers.
- Monitor and maintain existing client dashboards.
Capabilities
- 2+ years relevant work experience.
- Basic experience in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and React.
- Experience with dashboarding libraries, in particular QuickSight.
- Familiarity with Agile, Jira, and Confluence.
- Proficiency working with AWS cloud services is required.
Mid-Level UI/UX Engineer Responsibilities
- Deliver user-centric designs and component libraries.
- Integrate visualisations and backend APIs.
- Champion UI/UX quality in delivery.
- Monitor and maintain existing client dashboards.
Capabilities
- 4+ years relevant work experience.
- React fluency with scalable UI architecture.
- Experience with dashboarding libraries (in particular, QuickSight).
- UX testing and performance optimisation.
- Familiarity with Agile, Jira, and Confluence.
- Proficiency working with AWS cloud services is required.
Senior UI/UX Engineer Responsibilities
- Lead UI/UX technical direction and design standards.
- Guide team on best practices and accessibility.
- Partner with analytics and platform teams to shape product design.
Capabilities
- 6+ years relevant work experience.
- Deep React and design system experience.
- Strong understanding of visualisation tools and web accessibility.
- Strategic thinking and leadership.
- Familiarity with Agile, Jira, and Confluence.
- Proficiency working with AWS cloud services is required.
