JIRA Administrator – 6-Month Contract
(Corsham – 1-2 days onsite per week required)
Our client, a key player in secure development environments, is seeking an experienced JIRA Administrator to manage and maintain Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) and support technical operations. This role combines system administration, workflow optimisation, data reporting, and IT support within a security-sensitive setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and optimise JIRA and Confluence, including workflows, dashboards, and automation
- Manage user access, data reporting, and Atlassian plug-ins (e.g. BigPicture, Align)
- Support programme teams with dashboards, metrics, and coaching
- Assist with OS/firmware updates, backups, and licence management
- Monitor system security, manage user accounts, and maintain hardware/software
- Support data transfers and troubleshoot outages within the development environment
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and JQL
- Experience with Atlassian upgrades and data fixes
- Familiar with JIRA database schemas
- Proficient in Windows server/client environments
- Active SC clearance
- Willing to work onsite in Corsham 1-2 days/week
Desirable
- PowerShell scripting
- ITIL foundation knowledge
- Experience with SCCM or similar tools
