IT Support Technician required to work in Thatcham. As this is a very rural area, you will need to have your own transport. This opportunity is working Monday to Friday onsite, 5 days a week.
Please note my client will not be able to sponsor you if you do need sponsoring. This includes Tier 4 Post Study Visas and Tier 2 General Visas too, as after expiry date you will need sponsoring.
Job Responsibilities:- Take responsibility for the smooth running of all desktops, laptops, tablets, smart devices, Operating Systems and applications, Internet cafés and other client-facing areas.
- Monitor the IT service desk in support of all client areas.
- Act as a point of escalation to troubleshoot and resolve issues as required.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures, developing new procedures as required and ensure adherence.
- Provide support for all IT related projects and you will be required to work 1 Saturday in 3 and then 1 in 4 weekends - 9-1pm.
- 2 years + Proven Service Desk Support environment.
- Typically at least 2 years of technical delivery and support experience, in roles that require involvement and understanding of ITIL based service delivery.
- Knowledge of: Windows desktop administration; Microsoft Office suite; LAN/WAN maintenance; audio visual solutions and IT security.
- Familiar with remote assistance using prescribed tools such as TeamViewer and Teams.
