We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work on our own mechanical equipment, with a view to adding value and growing into higher profile roles as we continue to expand.
Location: Ipswich area (various postings shown); travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee mechanical projects using hands-on mechanical expertise on plant and vehicle equipment.
- Maintain and service plant and vehicle projects we manufacture.
- Work on projects ranging in value from a few thousand to millions of pounds.
- Utilise experience with Motors, Bearings, Winches, Gearboxes; knowledge of LOLER is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical background, ideally with plant experience.
- Open to various industrial sector knowledge; suitable for ex-forces candidates.
- Willingness to travel and work across multiple sites as needed.
