ARDATEM, founded in 1987 and currently employing around 800 people, is a subsidiary of the Gérard Perrier Industrie Group.
ARDATEM operates in the energy sector, working on nuclear plants at various stages: studies, operation, and maintenance and also engages with industrial sites in the fuel cycle, thermal power plants, and research centers.
In 2025, ARDATEM UK Pvt Ltd. has started its operations in the United Kingdom to provide engineering consulting services, particularly in the fields of Control and Instrumentation (C&I), safety and electrical engineering.
This includes installation, commissioning, and maintenance, as well as all on-site activities for the UK nuclear industry.
Process and Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a candidate to carry out I&C Commissioning Engineering Services, including the production and validation of the following deliverables:
These activities are based on design documentation, Edvance methodologies and standards, as well as feedback from other EPR projects.
Preparation and Planning
- Validate project data with the discipline Lead
- Identify key stakeholders and required resources
- Assess the maturity of input data and account for upcoming changes
- Analyze operational experience (OPEX) and manage risks
- Organize the kick-off meeting and open the study file
Deliverables Production and Validation
- Develop documentation in compliance with Edvance procedures
- Review deliverables with stakeholders and address feedback
- Monitor commissioning deliverables prepared by other parties
- Continuously update the study file
- Support I&C function tests at the test bay in France
Monitoring and Approval
- Report progress on schedule and budget
- Update the risk register as needed
- Validate and archive deliverables and study files in the EDMS
Required Skills
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of TXS technology (hardware & software)
- Experience with conventional HMI (SICS) systems and I&C interfaces
- Understanding of hardware backup systems (HBS, Unicorn…)
- Knowledge of nuclear I&C defense-in-depth principles
- Experience with TXS-TXP communication gateways
- Proficiency in TXP technology: ES 680 Engineering and Commissioning Tools, OM 690 Operating and Monitoring System, DS 670 Diagnosis System
- Industrial bus systems (Ethernet, Profibus DP)
- Ability to read and interpret I&C logic diagrams
- Commissioning experience (nuclear site testing or procedure development)
Additional Skills:
- Ability to propose tailored technical solutions
- Coordination of multidisciplinary topics (mechanical, fluid/HVAC, I&C)
- Strong writing skills for test procedures and documentation
- Team player in an international, multicultural environment
Location
Bristol and on site if required
