HGV Class 1 Driver

Overview

HGV Class 1 Driver with Crane Certificate at TieTalent.

Location: Croydon branch

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (including 1-hour unpaid statutory break)

The role involves multi-drop deliveries across London, South East, Sussex, and Kent Coast.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Company HGV vehicles and crane equipment safely and professionally
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any defects
• Secure loads for safety and comply with vehicle security procedures
• Complete multiple customer deliveries (average 1-15 drops daily)
• Provide excellent customer service, meeting and exceeding expectations
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations

Requirements

• HGV Class 1 licence
• Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Crane certificate
• Minimum 1 year experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver
• Age 25 or over (for insurance purposes)
• Physically fit and capable of manual lifting
• Knowledge of building products (preferred)
