As Head of Sales, you will lead the sales function across both the security and cleaning divisions, overseeing strategy, performance, and team leadership. Your focus will be on identifying high-value opportunities, managing key accounts, building a robust sales pipeline, and driving sustainable revenue growth. You will report directly to the Managing Director and play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a high-level sales strategy across security and cleaning verticals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the sales team to exceed targets and KPIs.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, tenders, and client engagement.
- Oversee and contribute to bid writing, tender submissions, and contract negotiations.
- Foster strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure retention and upselling.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to refine propositions.
- Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth mobilisation and delivery of contracts.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM management.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven track record in a senior sales leadership role within security, commercial cleaning, or facilities management.
- Deep understanding of manned guarding, CCTV solutions, and contract cleaning services.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate complex contracts.
- Experience with public and private sector bids, frameworks, and tenders.
- Natural leader with excellent communication, coaching, and people management skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Full UK driving licence.
