The Opportunity
A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Chef to oversee a busy kitchen at an activity centre for young children and adults.
The Role
- High Volume Experience Essential
- You will manage a catering team to ensure that the catering operations run smoothly and efficiently during breakfast, lunch and dinner times.
- You will manage a team of chefs and catering assistants.
- You will prepare, cook and serve food, always adhering to procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, temperature checks and allergy management.
- The role is working 5 days out of 7, 42 hours per week with overtime available.
- Shift patterns will be either 5.30am β 1.30pm or 1.30pm β 8.30pm.
The Ideal Applicant
- Experienced Head/Sous Chef from a high-volume background, with experience managing large teams and working within a busy environment.
- An enhanced DBS check is required.
- Qualifications include Level 3 Food Safety and allergen management.
- City & Guilds 7061 and 7062 or NVQ equivalent.
- Management qualifications and proven experience of coaching and mentoring your team.
