Job Details: Acute - Tier 4 inpatient team. This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral part in prioritising the delivery of a safe, effective and caring service to those young people (13yrs-18yrs) admitted to an Inpatient Unit and their families/carers within Sussex. The role will be based in one of the country’s leading hospitals for treating children and young people with serious mental health problems and eating disorders. You will also be part of a Trust-wide Consultant network where there are opportunities to liaise and be supported by colleagues in other posts throughout the trust.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide locum CAMHS psychiatric care in a Tier 4 inpatient setting for young people aged 13–18.
  • Prioritise delivery of a safe, effective, and caring service to inpatients and their families/carers.
  • Collaborate with a Trust-wide consultant network and liaise with colleagues across the trust.
  • Engage with department discussions and participate in arranging conversations as needed.
