The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution and reporting of test programs performed by Hardware QA in the HID PACS Business Area.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support Hardware Validation, Firmware regression and system testing, including installing and configuring hardware and software, and conducting functional testing and non-functional testing.
- Develop automated test processes (including jigs, fixtures, interfaces, and software GUIs etc) to improve the overall test efficiency and throughput of the Hardware test process.
- Contribute to the development, review, and submission of reports and other deliverables.
- Work within the Quality Assurance team for PACS Core products.
- Interpret and carry out a Test Plan.
- Perform tests to a given script (Manual or Automated).
- Communicate defects accurately using suitable and appropriate tools.
- Compile and publish a Test Report.
- Aware of functional and non-functional testing techniques.
- Aware of a range of tools and techniques for test automation.
- Contribute to improving delivery.
- Understand the importance of evidence-based analysis.
- Extend existing automated Test Solutions with new Test Cases.
We’re Looking For:
- Solid understanding of core fundamental concepts.
- Focused on growing as an engineer, learning the team’s tools and current processes, and developing productivity skills, as well as learning about engineering best-practices.
- Capable of taking well-defined tactical sub-tasks from a larger project and completing these tasks in a reasonable time frame.
- Focused on learning about a specific component or product sub-area and mastering that component.
Requirements:
- An Engineering degree or equivalent with suitable experience.
- A minimum of 1+ years of related experience.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, etc.
- Familiar with National Instruments TestStand, LabVIEW and Gurock TestRail.
- Modify test application software C# using Microsoft Visual Studio and .net framework.
- Interfacing with test equipment using DLLs, GPIB, Ethernet, CAN, USB and serial.
- Issue Tracking Applications (JIRA) and Wiki (Confluence).
- Realtime Board (Miro).
