Join a dedicated team at a Ministry of Justice business supporting the safe operation of HMP Bullingdon. We are looking for a Handyperson to contribute to a secure and supportive environment within a category B male adult prison.
Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance tasks as part of the Facilities Maintenance Team (electric, plumbing, carpentry, painting, cleaning, and administration support as needed).
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues to maintain a safe, secure, and rehabilitative environment.
- Assist in ensuring that prison facilities operate smoothly and safely, contributing to the wider welfare of prisoners, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Experience of prison environment
- Experience of use of hand and power tools
- Previous experience of working within a building fabric / Hard FM environment
- Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- Good Health
