About the Role Position: Group Tax Manager – Nottingham Location: Ruddington, Nottinghamshire Level: Experienced Professional Department: Finance Working Pattern: Hybrid (three days a week in the head office) Benefits: Benefits at Ideagen DEI Strategy: DEI strategy The Group Tax Manager will oversee the Group\’s tax compliance and reporting processes, acting as the primary contact for relationships with global tax advisors. The role involves implementing transfer pricing policies, managing tax risks, supporting business initiatives such as mergers and restructuring, and assessing the impact of changing tax legislation. We seek a candidate to manage UK and international direct and indirect taxes, working with the Head of Tax and other departments to ensure compliance, optimize tax strategies, and contribute to overall tax planning. Responsibilities Manage income tax compliance and reporting for the Group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Lead relationships with tax advisors across jurisdictions. Prepare UK Corporation Tax returns and other international tax filings. Collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with tax laws and standards. Assist in preparing tax provisions and consolidations. Design, implement, and review transfer pricing policies. Monitor global tax legislation changes and assess their impact. Provide guidance during mergers, restructuring, and significant initiatives. Skills and Experience Qualified accountant and/or tax professional (ACA, ACCA, CTA); tax qualification preferred. Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in tax compliance, advisory, and reporting. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex tax laws. Desire to expand expertise in domestic and international tax matters. Ability to build collaborative relationships with tax advisors and colleagues.
