The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

We are a well established and well equipped class IV and VII Mot Centre looking for an experienced Time Served Vehicle Technician/Mot tester to complement our team.

The successful candidate should have confidence and experience in the following areas:

  • Carrying out servicing and all types of mechanical repairs of petrol and diesel vehicles and their electrical systems to the highest quality and be able to work on own initiative.
  • First time fault finding from road testing, analysing vehicle condition and reporting to support staff and customers.
  • Completing work within industry standard timescales.
  • Completing paperwork.
  • Experience in electrical diagnostics including Engine Management, ABS and Airbag systems would be an advantage.

MOT testing qualification is preferred for this role. A competitive salary and holiday entitlement as well as ongoing training to improve skills are available for the correct candidate whose quality and standard of workmanship will enhance our reputation and growing customer base.

Working shift pattern is Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5PM. All overtime is paid at time and a half.
