Full Stack Developer Placement Programme is a training and placement programme designed for individuals with none or limited programming experience who want to start a career in coding, web development or programming. The programme provides industry-recognised certifications, guidance to market yourself with a structured CV and LinkedIn profile, and support to build a credible portfolio. Training and placement are offered with fees applying.
What you will do / Responsibilities
- Stage 1 – Learn HTML and CSS (up to 12 weeks). Complete professional, industry-recognised courses selected to maximise learning and employment outcomes. HTML Essentials (up to 6 weeks) and CSS Essentials (up to a defined period).
- Stage 2 – Additional Online Training (up to 12 weeks). Complete a set of more advanced courses to prepare for entry-level programming roles.
- Stage 3 – Building a Portfolio Website Project (1 week). Build a personalised portfolio under tutor guidance to demonstrate skills to potential employers.
- Stage 4 – Entry Level Coding Placement. Work with programme staff to secure an initial role in coding, programming or web development. Typical salaries for entry-level roles are described as £25K – £40k depending on prior knowledge and experience.
Stage Details (contents subject to change)
- Stage 1: HTML and CSS – HTML Essentials (up to 6 weeks) and CSS Essentials (up to 6 weeks).
- Stage 2: Command Line (1.5 weeks), Git & GitHub (1.5 weeks), JavaScript (1.5 weeks), Python 3 (1.5 weeks).
- Stage 3: Portfolio Website Project (1 week).

Qualifications / Requirements
- Open to individuals with none or limited programming experience but a strong desire to start a career in programming.
- Must be able to commit to study timings (minimum about 5 hours per week; study pace can be adjusted).
