The Role
You will be responsible for fabricating components using various techniques, working from drawings and instructions, and collaborating with colleagues and management.
Responsibilities
- Undertake all types of mild steel fabrications
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings
- Perform MIG and occasional TIG welding
- Maintain fabrication records following production procedures
- Inspect and test welds with precision instruments
- Operate machinery, hand tools, power tools, and forklifts (training provided)
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- High standard of fabrication and welding skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and attendance
- Follow welding procedures and achieve qualifications
- Experience in MMA welding and site work is desirable
- CSCS card, MWEP/PASMA qualifications, forklift/lifting certifications are advantageous
