Commercial Pipe Fitter Supervisor role at TieTalent. Based around London within the M25 area; office in Ingatestone. Responsibilities
- Supervise and work with a team of engineers and apprentices on site
- Act as the primary contact/manager for engineers and apprentices on site
- Assist with problem jobs by providing technical and physical assistance
- Support the director with all aspects of contracts
- Complete job reports on project completion
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory position
- Ability to follow Health and Safety guidelines
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage client expectations
- Good knowledge of heating systems and pipe fitting
- Experience managing engineers on jobs and timesheets
- Based within commutable distance of Ingatestone (essential)
- Flexibility to occasionally work weekends/nights and overtime
- CSCS card held
Skills
- Creating material take-off lists and labour requirements for projects
- Background with plant rooms, air handling units, water cooled units, chillers, cold water booster sets, shell and core risers, fan coil units
- Understanding of layout and schematic drawings; carry out take-offs and set dimensions
- Collate testing and snag packs on completion of a project
- Use of own initiative for making confident decisions on projects
Remuneration and Benefits
- £250 per day
- Company van and fuel card
- General working hours: 8am to 5pm (flexible start/finish; starts can be as early as 5:45am; meet at the office)
- Overtime paid at time and a half
