As Tenancy Sustainment Team Leader, you'll lead, manage and develop a team of Tenancy Sustainment Officers based in Stoke on Trent, providing a point of contact and consistency for our customers from referral to move on. You'll make sure that your team has the right support, training and tools, as well as developing positive relationships with community partners.

£30,437.50 a year

Hours per week: 37.5

Job Requirements:

  • Manage the Tenancy Sustainment team, taking the lead on the recruitment, selection and induction of new staff. You'll support staff by setting clear objectives, maintaining good communication and managing workload to make sure cover is always provided.
  • Lead on service delivery, including property management and ensuring that the service is high-quality and meets the needs of Concrete's customers and overall objectives.
  • Work with internal departments to develop monitoring and performance targets, to ensure that the service delivers a high-quality service to all Concrete customers.
  • Develop good working relationships with multi-agencies, such as health and social care, Local Authority and housing providers. You'll be an ambassador for Concrete and actively promote the service too.
  • Manage referrals into the service, assessing each customer's housing needs and making sure the service is right for them.
  • Support the Operations Manager where needed, including through regular reporting.

What We're Looking For:

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Experience in housing management and working on project delivery.
  • Experience of people management and HR processes, and financial processes including expense and invoice processing.
  • Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) member, or the willingness to work towards it, would be desirable but not essential.
  • Strong self-awareness, self-management skills and professionalism. Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Solution focused and able to support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • An inspirational leader who can empower, develop and coach others.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle for work.
  • DBS check required every three years.
