We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Supervisor/Foreman to join our team, someone with hands-on expertise and a natural ability to lead by example on the shop floor. On offer is an interesting & varied role where you will be overseeing a small team plus working on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support daily operations within the workshop
- Supervision of the factory facility & improving performance
- Liaising with the office staff to ensure all components are ready on time
- Reporting any issues to management
- Uphold a safe, clean and compliant working environment
- Visual inspection of parts to ensure quality standards are met
The Person:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
- Strong attention to detail & accuracy with ability to work under pressure
- Ability to develop and manage teams within a fast-paced workshop environment
- Must come from an engineering background & be able to understand engineering drawings
- Able to maintain a safe working environment for other employees
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 1.30pm
Company pension scheme upon qualification
Attendance & Production bonus after successful completion of trial period
20 days holiday per year (January-December)
