Our skilled team of industrial electricians are a vital part of the Water Supply family; keeping our treatment works running smoothly to ensure the supply of 1.3bn litres of clean, safe drinking water to 5 million customers, every single day.

Key responsibilities:
You\’ll be responsible for wiring, installing, maintaining and controlling the high diversity of electrical equipment necessary to treat and distribute water.
This includes:
- Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment
- Investigate asset trends and carry out electrical interventions
- Assist electrical framework contractors and internal high voltage, optimisation and automation teams
- Utilise electrical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- React to technical issues to maintain water supply
What does it take to be an Electrical Asset Technician?
- Level 3 electrical qualification AND
- Completed an electrical apprenticeship
- Strong health & safety focus
- Industrial electrical experience
- Ability to work standby-by and overtime as necessary
As well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our electrical assets, you will work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to operate and maintain water treatment assets and processes.
