About The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with individual pupils, supporting their unique learning journeys and empowering them to achieve their full potential. You’ll plan and deliver creative, tailored learning activities, and be a cornerstone of their academic and emotional growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils 1:1 with specific learning needs in a nurturing and structured environment.
- Planning and adapting lesson activities to suit individual learning styles.
- Monitoring progress and celebrating every step of success.
- Collaborating closely with class teachers, SENCOs, parents, and support teams.
- Promoting emotional well-being, positive behaviour, and inclusive learning.
- Creating a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a school setting.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Confidence working 1:1 with children requiring tailored support.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A passion for helping children overcome barriers and thrive.

Requirements
- Relevant teaching or TA qualifications preferred.
