Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and passionate Dentists and Dental Specialists to join our team in various regional locations in Australia. As a Dentist at Abano Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a modern and well-equipped dental practice, providing a wide range of dental services to patients. Abano can provide 482 regional visas to International Dentists who can secure unrestricted licensing with the Australian Dental Board on AHPRA. You will be required to work in a regional location in Australia which can include but not limited to:
- Queensland - Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Roma, Toowoomba.
- New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory - South Coast NSW, Armidale, Bathurst, Coffs Harbour, Foster, Lismore and the Northern Rivers.
- Tasmania - Hobart, Invermay.
- Victoria - Geelong.
- South Australia - Adelaide, Clare Valley, Port Lincoln.
- Western Australia - Perth, Mandurah, Busselton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing dental diseases using a range of methods such as radiographs, salivary tests and medical histories.
- Providing preventative oral health care such as periodontal treatments, fluoride applications and oral health promotion.
- Providing restorative oral care such as implants, complex crown and bridge restorations, and orthodontics, and repairing damaged and decayed teeth.
- Providing oral surgical treatments such as biopsy of tissue and prescription of medication.
- Performing routine orthodontic treatment.
- Restoring oral function with removable and fixed oral prostheses.
- Assisting in diagnosing general diseases having oral manifestations such as diabetes.
- Educating patients to take care of their mouth and teeth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent qualification recognised by the Dental Board of Australia.
- Full registration with AHPRA.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
