About the role:
As a locum Consultant in Acute Medicine, you'll provide expert care for patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Managing acute admissions and medical take
- Leading multidisciplinary teams in acute settings
- Supervising junior doctors and trainees
- Contributing to service development and audits
What we're looking for:
Essential:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- MRCP or equivalent
- A current DBS check or PVG check or willingness to undergo one as part of registration
- UK Right to Work
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
Desirable:
- CCT in Acute Medicine or within 6 months of achieving it
