About the role:

As a locum Consultant in Acute Medicine, you'll provide expert care for patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing acute admissions and medical take
  • Leading multidisciplinary teams in acute settings
  • Supervising junior doctors and trainees
  • Contributing to service development and audits

What we're looking for:

Essential:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • MRCP or equivalent
  • A current DBS check or PVG check or willingness to undergo one as part of registration
  • UK Right to Work
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills

Desirable:

  • CCT in Acute Medicine or within 6 months of achieving it
