Successful candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations in a Class 2 vehicle while ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and customer service standards.

Our client,a leading logistics and supply chain company, is seeking reliable and experienced Class 2 Delivery Drivers to join their team based in Crawley. Successful candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations in a Class 2 vehicle while ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C1) vehicle for multi-drop deliveries and collections.
- Able to lift heavy items
- Adhere to scheduled delivery times and routes.
- Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
- Ensure goods are loaded and unloaded securely, with proper handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers.
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all driving legislation, including tachograph rules and road safety laws.
Qualifications And Experience
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license.
- Clean DBS
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience in a similar driving role as a Class 2 Driver .
- A strong understanding of UK road networks and transport regulations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
