Our product range includes our External Deterrent System, High-Definition CCTV Surveillance Systems, Access Control Systems, Remote Monitoring, Intruder and Fire Alarm Systems. This role is based in or around Sheffield.
We are recruiting a field-based, experienced service engineer from the Fire & Security Industry to service and repair Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Door Access Control Systems. Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams or phone, on a date/time to suit your working day.
Responsibilities
- Attend commercial sites, within a designated geographical radius, to service electronic security systems: Intruder Alarms, Door Access Control Systems, CCTV and IP CCTV Systems.
- Maintain Fire & Security Systems.
- Fault find and remedial repairs on CCTV, Intruder Alarms and Door Access Control Systems.
- Carry out on-site health & safety risk assessments.
- Effectively communicate with customers.
What we\βre looking for
- Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience in servicing, maintaining and fault finding on CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Door Access Control Systems.
- Basic knowledge of IP Networking.
- Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced Security Industry.
- Product knowledge of the following will be beneficial but is not essential: Intruder (Texecom, Scantronic, Galaxy, Pyronix); Door Access Control (Paxton, TDSi, Maxxess, Honeywell); CCTV (Avigilon, Hikvision, Samsung and Dahua).
- Must have experience working on IP CCTV.
- Will be required to work on Emergency Callout rota (1 in 5 weeks).
- A UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required.
- A current ECS card is beneficial.
- A current IPAF licence is also beneficial.
What we offer
- A basic salary of Β£30,000 per annum for 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with overtime opportunities, standby Β£250 pw (rota system 1 in 5 weeks) and call-out Β£25 per hour, plus additional benefits.
