Job Description
At Lifeways we put the people we support at the heart of everything we do and are looking for those who share our values to join our team as a Support Worker in Harwich. As we provide a full training and induction programme, we can consider those without experience that are looking to join the sector and provide exceptional care.
As an organisation, we provide supported living and residential care for people living with complex needs, including:
- An acquired brain injury
- A learning disability
- Autism
- Physical disabilities
- Mental health
Our Support Worker role is an integral part of team, ensuring the people we support can live as independently as possible within their own home and their wider community. The type of care you provide will be tailored to the needs of the individual. It is an incredibly varied and rewarding role as you will be helping people in your area to improve their quality of life, achieve their goals and make a very real and positive difference.
This role will see you provide support with:
- Meal preparation and planning
- Domestic duties
- Mental Wellbeing
- Personal care
- Hobbies, activities and events
- And much more!
As an organisation we provide support every day of the year, our roles will therefore involve working both weekdays and weekends. Our Support Worker opportunity in Harwich involves working 8 hour shifts either on an early or late shift pattern, hours of work will fall between 07:30am-10:00pm.
