Performance Calibration Engineer
A contract role in Peterborough, this position involves serving as a Performance Calibration Engineer for a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with engine performance development is essential, and the ideal candidate will have experience in both new product development and improving current models. The environment prioritizes efficiency, quality improvement, and cost reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engine performance development and validation.
- Adopt new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer-aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Plan and improve engineering procedures and operations to make products or processes more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
- Collaborate with all functional areas to provide design solutions that meet customer and dealer network requirements.
Required Experience:
- Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
- Proficiency in Cameo or AVL software or similar.
- Experience with performance and emissions calibrations.

- Knowledge of engine development from off-highway or automotive industries.
