Performance Calibration Engineer
A contract role in Peterborough, this position involves serving as a Performance Calibration Engineer for a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with engine performance development is essential, and the ideal candidate will have experience in both new product development and improving current models. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engine performance development and validation.
- Adopt new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer-aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Plan and improve engineering procedures and operations to make products or processes more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective.
- Collaborate with all functional areas to provide design solutions that meet customer and dealer network requirements.
Required Experience:
- Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
- Proficiency in Cameo or AVL software or similar.
- Experience with performance and emissions calibrations.

- Support with testing and capturing data.
- Knowledge of engine development from off-highway or automotive industries.
- Analytical thinking skills using flow charts, Pareto charts, and fish diagrams.
