Responsibilities
- Provide a polished front-of-house presence for guests and visitors
- Lay tables and serve meals (formal and informal), including breakfasts and lunches outdoors in fine weather
- Wardrobe management for the Gentleman of the house, including care of suits, shirts, shoes and accessories
- Packing and unpacking for business and leisure travel
- Driving duties, including chauffeuring between residences
- Assisting with household organisation, including managing inventories and liaising with contractors
- General day-to-day support to ensure smooth running of both homes, working as part of a small team
Qualifications
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Be fluent in English
- Have a valid DBS check or be willing to obtain one
- Have excellent, contactable references
- Have 5+ years of experience as a Butler or Valet within a private household
