Brand& offer an end-to-end service from design, production and quality control, through to supporting sales and marketing activity and distributing collections worldwide. Through our expertise in specialist production and long standing partnerships with manufacturers, we ensure that we deliver uncompromising quality, always on time.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to identify and secure new commercial opportunities and drive growth across the business in new sectors to agreed strategic targets. You will be committed to the highest level of customer service and will ensure programmes are delivered that meet all stakeholder requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and develop new business with new sectors and supporting existing customers by increasing the potential client base
- Undertake negotiations with prospective clients covering financial objectives and business requirements with the help of the Brand& Management Team
- Contribute to the development of the overall Brand& business\’ strategy
- Work collaboratively with other business divisions to exploit joint opportunities
- Initiate and manage the preparation of business proposals in response to client enquiries, ensuring relevant inputs are robust, valid and accurate
- Be the first point of contact with existing and potential clients, ensuring regular reporting and contact is maintained
- Ensure the business plans meets the company\’s cash flow requirements
- Assist with the preparation of budgeting and forecasting of sales and margins
- Provide feedback to the Chief Executive Officer and Operations Director on market opportunities and developments
- Provide support at shows and exhibitions as defined by the marketing strategy
- Provide dynamic and strong leadership as part of the Brand& Management team
Who We Are Looking For
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role with experience of selling high value accounts and annual contract/programme negotiation. Previous experience and knowledge of the clothing and merchandise industry is essential in this role. You will be a self-starter who is highly results-focused and willing to travel abroad should the role require.
