About the Role

Industry: Automotive

Type: Fixed-term contract (3 months, extension thereafter)

Rate: £75,000 per annum, pro-rata

Location: Hybrid, 50% in-office (London, Victoria)

Purpose of the Post

Seeking an experienced Microsoft/Azure Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to design, build, and support BI solutions across the Microsoft stack, including SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI. The role involves delivering enterprise-grade analytics, integrating with third-party tools like Tableau and Amazon QuickSight, and working with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications / Skills / Attributes

• Strong experience with Microsoft BI Stack: SSAS (multidimensional and tabular), SSRS, Power BI (Power Query, DAX, visual design)
• Azure Data Platform familiarity: Azure SQL DB, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services
• Experience with data integration, REST APIs, Power BI Embedded
• Strong T-SQL skills, knowledge of data modelling, data warehouse best practices
• Preferred: Microsoft certifications (DA-100, DP-500, MCSE: BI), CI/CD, DevOps pipelines, data governance

Main Duties

1. BI Development & Reporting: Design and maintain SSAS cubes, develop SSRS reports, create Power BI dashboards
2. Integration & Interoperability: Enable third-party tool integration, manage secure data connections
3. Platform Support & Governance: Configure security, monitor performance, document standards
4. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work with teams to improve reporting architecture, support automated pipelines, enhance data quality
