Charles Simon Associates are currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a business that has been growing extensively over the past 3 years, you would be working for a manager who really values their employees and wants to help them in their careers in order for them to progress.

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to ÂŁ45,000 Per Annum D.O.E

Skills/Requirements for the Business Intelligence (BI) Developer:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is vital
  • Strong Data Modelling, Manipulation and integration experience
  • Previous BI reporting experience ideally around QlikView/Qlik Cloud or Qlik Sense
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing
  • Ability to interact with senior level Stakeholders
  • All candidates must have hands on experience using Qlik products, ideally Qlik Cloud, QlikView and/or Qlik Sense

Start date: ASAP

The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer will be responsible for:

  • Translating complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that influence key business decisions
  • Supporting and updating Stakeholders within the business as and when requested and on an ad hoc basis
  • Mentoring junior members of the team in order to support their growth
  • Working with multiple data sources and large complex datasets, building analytical solutions using predominantly Qlik Cloud
  • Applying a “test, learn and evolve” approach to uncover opportunities and recommend improvements to the system where possible
  • Supporting the growth of the business through data-driven analytics and innovation
  • Acting as a senior team member, guiding colleagues and providing cover in the BI Manager’s absence
  • Collaborating across teams to identify and solve business challenges using data
