  • Developing, validating, and transferring analytical methods to support the characterisation of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and drug products
  • Measuring critical physicochemical properties to identify potential stability, manufacturing, and performance issues

  • Authoring and reviewing technical documents, such as protocols, reports, test methods, and operating procedures
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute studies

The Ideal Candidate for the Analytical Development Scientist Role

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • A proven, recent track record in analytical chemistry, with experience in techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, FT-IR, UV-vis, and physical characterisation - Experience working with solid dosage forms is highly desirable.
  • Recent hands-on experience in analytical method development and validation, particularly in HPLC and dissolution
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • Ideally 2 or more years of experience in analytical development
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A working knowledge of regulatory requirements, including FDA, EMEA, and VICH/ICH guidelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
