About The Role
As 33kV SAP / HV Electrical Fitter you will be joining an award winning business and working on numerous client sites maintaining Transformers and Switchgear projects across the UK. This is an important role within our growing Power Division here at Ipsum, you will ensure that we are compliance with HV safety rules and procedures at all time and undertake the necessary SAP approved training together with refreshed to ensure your kept up to date with industry knowledge.
This is a full time permanent role based in and around Wakefield.
As a 33kV SAP / HV Electrical Fitter you will
Working on HV, LV, Transformers, Switchgear and Associated Equipment and carrying out service / remedial works on equipment,electrical testing and fault finding andmechanical modifications and repairs. Routine PPM (planned preventive maintenance) to a manufacturers standard.Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment.Have the ability to test LV protection and type up accurate reports of results and install HV/LV panels and transformers to manufacturers standard
About You
Electrical Power System experience required up to 33kV is key for this role along with operation experience as a HV Electrical Fitter. This role requires high standard of work and the ability to work alone but also as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence and eligibility for a CTC clearance and DBS check is essential.
