Company Description

Tier1 Construction Services, established in 2018, delivers high-standard projects for both domestic and commercial clients across South Wales and the west of England. We are CHAS accredited, ensuring the safety of our staff, clients, and the public. Our services include bespoke carpentry, attic conversions, garage conversions, kitchen and bathroom refits, home refurbishments, and garden projects such as summer houses and decking.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Carpenter located in Merthyr Tydfil. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing various carpentry tasks, including finish carpentry works,First and second fix works.

Daily tasks will include interpreting plans, measuring and assembling and installing fixtures and structures.

Qualifications

NVQ 3

  • Carpentry and Finish Carpentry techniques
  • Experience using Power Tools and Hand Tools
  • Skilled in Framing and structural carpentry work
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret plans
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in domestic and commercial construction is a plus
  • Relevant vocational training or apprenticeships
