Tidyco is a multi-divisional engineering company based in Derby, since 1973, and are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual to join our current engineering team.
Job Description:
We are currently looking to recruit a Stores Operative to join us on a permanent basis in our busy Stores Department. It is important that the person who applies has an eye for detail and is able to follow company working practices so as to ensure the product leaves the company right first time.
Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team under the supervision of the Stores Manager
- Receive Goods in
- Check delivery notes/packing slips to ensure accuracy of delivery
- Picking and packing of sales orders
- Liaise with other departments when materials/parts arrive
- Completing weekly/monthly stock takes as requested
- Van driving for collections/deliveries as and when required
- Support with Stores Administration duties as required and to provide cover for the Stores Administrator in their absence.
Loading/Offloading goods from vehicles.
Picking of kits, production picklists & engineers reorders.
Skills:
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Able to work individually or as part of a team
- Good level of IT ability and a willingness to learn
- Must be able to multi-task
- Able to prioritise workload

- FLT / Counterbalance Licence & Full driving licence is essential
