Marketing and Communications Manager This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Marketing and Communications team based at The Grand Opera House York. The Marketing and Communications Manager reports to the Head of Marketing and Communications and is responsible for the Marketing and Communications Officer, playing a key role in the team by implementing effective marketing and communication campaigns. As Marketing and Communications Manager , you will be responsible for planning and delivering marketing and communication campaigns that drive ticket sales and revenue and nurture the audience base, coordinating and collaborating within the venue and with ATG’s central Marketing team. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for producers, media and marketing agencies in the development and delivery of campaigns and take responsibility for identifying sales opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue. The Grand Opera House York is a receiving house, and it’s an exciting time to join the team. Fresh from a re-launch in Autumn 2022, the theatre has been going from strength to strength with an eclectic programme including major west-end musicals, drama, music and comedy. Shows coming up include Friends the Musical Parody, Six, Alan Davies, Prima Facie, the incredible Operation Mincemeat, not forgetting this year’s glitzy panto title Cinderella. Over the last 18 months we’ve worked on marketing and communications strategies for some of the biggest shows on the UK touring circuit including Dear Evan Hansen, Nina Conti, Only Fools and Horses the Musical and Hairspray.
