Every day people with chest, heart and stroke conditions are leaving the hospital scared and alone. You can be part of our mission to make sure that there is no life half lived in Scotland.

By joining Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) as a Property Administrator, you can be the difference between people just surviving and really living.

You will be part of Scotland's leading health charity, providing support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions and Long Covid to live life to the full again. Through our network of retail shops across Scotland, we generate vital income that helps us deliver life-changing services and support.

Help keep our retail estate running smoothly

We are looking for an organised and proactive Property Administrator to support the effective management of our retail property portfolio across Scotland.

Working closely with the Property Lead, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across all aspects of property management. This includes coordinating reactive repairs, routine servicing, planned maintenance and remedial works, while ensuring colleagues,

contractors and stakeholders are kept informed every step of the way.

You will maintain accurate property records, compliance documentation, asset registers and maintenance schedules, helping to ensure our retail estate remains safe, compliant and fit for purpose. You'll also play an important role in monitoring deadlines, supporting reporting requirements and responding to queries from colleagues, landlords and contractors.

This role would suit someone with strong administrative experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in property, facilities or retail administration would be advantageous but is not essential.

Working as part of our Retail team, you will contribute to maintaining the environments that enable our shops to thrive, ultimately supporting CHSS to raise the funds needed to improve the lives of people across Scotland.

CHSS employees enjoy a variety of organisational benefits including company pension scheme, generous holiday allowance, company sick pay, employee welfare support and life assurance.

CHSS also supports flexible recruitment through Working Families and we are "Happy to Talk Flexible Working".

In line with our commitment to safeguarding, this role is subject to a Basic Disclosure check. CHSS is committed to equality of opportunity and to providing a service which is free from unfair and unlawful discrimination. We therefore aim to ensure that no applicant, volunteer or member of staff is unfairly treated on the grounds of offending background.
